ATLANTA — Christ Covenant is pleased to announce that it will host Safer Churches, a one-day workshop dedicated to helping church and ministry leaders strengthen safety cultures, prevent abuse, and respond biblically when incidents occur. The event will take place Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Christ Covenant, 221 Armour Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30324.
Safer Churches is designed to provide essential insights, practical guidance, and actionable tools for pastors, ministry leaders, women’s ministry coordinators, associational strategists, and university ministry workers committed to creating safer ministry environments that care for the most vulnerable.
Event Highlights Include:
“As pastors and ministry leaders, we cannot be too careful,” says Christ Covenant pastor Jason Dees. The responsibility of caring for people, especially children and the vulnerable, is enormous. That’s why Christ Covenant is hosting a training event focused on abuse prevention and equipping churches and ministries to better recognize warning signs and create safer environments. Our hope is to serve not only our own congregation, but churches throughout our state.
