DALLAS, Ga. — Fortified Hills Baptist Church in Dallas will host Him We Proclaim, a one-day preaching conference designed to encourage and equip those who preach and teach God’s Word, on Monday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The conference theme, “Christ-Centered Exposition,” will emphasize faithful, Christ-exalting preaching and practical help for those who labor in the Word. Drawing from Jesus’ words in John 5 (“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me”), the conference will explore how all of Scripture points to Christ and how to faithfully put Him on display from every text, with sessions ranging from Christ-centered hermeneutics to practical instruction.
“If you preach or teach the Bible, I’d love to have you join us for our Him We Proclaim Conference on April 27,” said Josh Price, pastor of Fortified Hills Baptist Church. “It’s sure to be a refreshing day as we hear Christ-exalting preaching and are further equipped for such a great task.”
Featured speakers include Jared C. Wilson, assistant professor of pastoral ministry and author in residence at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, staff pastor for preaching and director of The Pastoral Training Center at Liberty Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo. Wilson is an award-winning author of more than 20 books and hosts the For The Church podcast and co-hosts The Heart of Pastoring podcast. Also speaking is Mitchell Chase, associate professor of biblical studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and preaching pastor at Kosmosdale Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.
