Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief continues clean up in wake of Hurricane Helene

Posted

AUGUSTA, Ga.  — Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief Volunteers have embarked on a 2-week deployment to the greater Augusta area, doing some remaining cleanup work of damage caused by Hurricane Helene. About 50 GBDR volunteers from around the state are doing tree work for residents and verbally and physically sharing the love of the Lord. Please keep these volunteers and many homeowners in the entire southeastern area of Georgia in your prayers.

This weekend, GBDR will host the first of eight trainings this year, on Friday evening and Saturday morning in Snellville at Church on Main. If you are interested in serving with us, please refer to gabaptist.org/disasterrelief for more training dates and information.

Please be in prayer for our volunteers and those with whom they share the love of Christ.  If you wish to support GBDR financially, you may do so via this link.
