NEW ORLEANS — Four students graduated from the Georgia Korean Theological Institute of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Extension Center during a Dec. 12, 2025, commencement ceremony at NOBTS.

The graduates earned Master of Divinity degrees through the seminary’s extension program, which serves students in metro Atlanta. Those recognized included Yongkwan Cho, Yangon Kim, Yumgsuk Shin, and Ina Kim.

In addition to its graduate programs, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary offers undergraduate study through Leavell College, which provides associate and bachelor’s degrees, along with Leadership Certificates. The seminary’s Online Leadership Certificates program, directed by Dr. Robert Wilson and based at the Cross Pointe Baptist Church campus in Duluth, Georgia, allows students to earn accredited collegiate units that are transferable to associate or bachelor’s degree programs.

Two certificate tracks are offered: the Biblical Teaching Certificate and the Biblical Ministry Certificate, each requiring eight courses.

Seven students completed certificate requirements and graduated on Dec. 12: Richmond Boateng, Ebenezer Yeboah Ofori, and Anthony Opoku-Gyamfi (Biblical Teaching and Biblical Ministry); Monique Brown, Sherry Jackson, Kelsey Gomes Pires, and Felisha Artina Whitaker (Biblical Ministry); and Tinger Simmons Purvis (Biblical Teaching).
