NASHVILLE, Tenn. — After six Grammy nominations, Zeke Listenbee has won his first Dove Award.

Listenbee won the award with his arranging of the traditional gospel song It is well sung by Tasha Cobb.

Listenbee is the worship and arts pastor at New Hope Baptist Church’s Fayetteville campus and Senoia campus in south metro Atlanta, serving alongside Pastor Rhys Stenner for the past 19 months.

“Zeke has helped our church grow, and we’ve added a third main worship service in his time already,” Stenner said. “He has opened the door to new people entering the music and arts ministry.”

Stenner said Listenbee “has the rare ability to excel in contemporary music, while also drawing in each generation, even leading us brilliantly with hymns. He really ministers to the congregation, is already beloved, has a great sense of humor and we are very proud of him and the Listenbee family. “

The 54th annual GMA Dove Awards presentation ceremony was held on October 17 at the Allen Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

The ceremony, which was aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network on Friday evening, recognized the accomplishments of musicians and other figures within the Christian music industry in 2023.
