Steven Aaron Jackson passed away at the age of 34 on Tuesday, August 2, 2023. Born December 13, 1988, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Aaron was a man committed to living life to the fullest. He leaves behind his parents Allen and Judi Alexander Jackson, his sister Sarah Jackson Brinson and her husband Adam Brinson, and Mallory Harville with whom he shares a son Reid Aaron Jackson. Aaron was blessed with a supportive extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
After graduating in 2007 from Crescent City Christian School where he excelled in multiple sports, Aaron attended Mississippi College and Louisiana State University. He then enjoyed a productive career in Texas with several construction-related companies. Most recently, he was employed with Bulldog Movers in the Atlanta area.
Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Richard and Peggy Hartshorn Jackson as well as his maternal grandparents James and Patricia Martin Alexander.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 1 p.m. in the Dunwoody Baptist Church worship center, with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. His family encourages attendees to wear black and gold (and maybe even a fleur-de-lis) in honor of Aaron’s love for his New Orleans Saints.
