ROME, Ga. — Shorter University’s College of Business welcomed more than 200 students to Brookes Chapel for an inspiring Entrepreneur Seminar that brought together a panel of successful local business leaders who shared their stories of innovation, leadership, and perseverance.

Each local entrepreneur offered personal insight into their journey, highlighting both the challenges and rewards of leading with integrity, creativity, and faith in their respective industries.
“Events like this are a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn directly from professionals who have built their businesses through hard work, vision, and values that align with Shorter’s mission,” said Dr. Heath Hooper, Dean of the College of Business.
The event offered opportunities for meaningful discussion about entrepreneurship, innovation, and community impact, reinforcing Shorter University’s commitment to preparing students to become leaders of integrity, innovation, and purpose in their chosen fields.
