ROME, Ga. — Shorter University’s Brady School of Nursing hosted the 2nd annual Alpha Gamma Eta – At Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing induction ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 4, in Brookes Chapel.
The event celebrated nursing students and professionals who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, and dedication to the field of nursing. New inductees were officially welcomed into Sigma Theta Tau International, a global honor society that recognizes and advances nursing excellence, scholarship, and service worldwide.

Family members, faculty, friends, and community partners gathered to celebrate the achievements of the new inductees as they joined the ranks of nurse leaders from across the globe.
Founded in 1922, Sigma Theta Tau International is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious nursing organizations, with members in more than 100 countries committed to advancing health through knowledge, research, and service.
