CLEVELAND, Ga. — Truett McConnell University is pleased to announce the launch of its new Master of Sports Management degree, officially approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and beginning June 2026. As part of TMU’s expanding portfolio of graduate and doctoral business offerings through the Hans Hut School of Business, the Master of Sports Management degree integrates innovative sports management education with TMU’s established strengths in advanced business curriculum.
Designed for working professionals, aspiring sport executives, and leaders seeking to expand their impact in the global sport industry, the program offers five flexible entry points—January, March, June, August, and October, and can be completed in as little as 12 months.
“We designed the Master of Sports Management to equip students with the strategic, analytical, and leadership skills demanded by modern sport organizations,” said Dr. Stacy Hall, Program Coordinator for the Master of Sports Management degree. “Our curriculum blends innovation, real-world application, and biblically grounded principles to develop graduates who will make a meaningful impact in the sport industry and beyond.”
The Master of Sports Management degree prepares students for leadership roles across professional, collegiate, and international sport organizations through a curriculum that emphasizes analytics, operations, marketing, revenue generation, and strategic innovation. Students benefit from TMU’s dual-focus approach: a strong graduate business foundation paired with specialized sports management coursework that addresses emerging industry challenges.
Consistent with TMU’s mission, the program emphasizes ethical leadership, data-driven decision-making, and biblically grounded principles that guide professional integrity and long-term organizational impact.
The MSM program launches June 2026, with enrollment available for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027 entry terms. Prospective students may learn more and apply at
