CARROLLTON, Ga. — Hundreds of people are expected to attend the West Georgia Evangelism Conference on Sunday in Carrollton.
Tim Williams, mission strategist in the Carrollton Baptist Association, the conference is being held at Roopville Baptist Church. Breakout sessions begin at 5 p.m. and the main session begins at 6 p.m.
Speakers include Jerry Vines, the longtime pastor of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, and Emir Caner, president of Truett McConnell University.
Southern Gospel group The Nelons will sing, as will a 200-member mass choir made up of members of churches in the Carrollton Baptist Association.
Williams said everyone is welcome and pre-registration isn’t necessary.
