NEW YORK (AP) — Jalen Johnson scored 26 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 116-100 victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. De’Andre Hunter had 22 points off the bench and Dejounte Murray finished with 21.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Miles Kelly scored 19 points, Baye Ndongo made a game-winning shot with 0.4 seconds left and Georgia Tech held off Wake Forest for a 70-69 victory on Tuesday night.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Noah Thomasson scored 15 points, Russel Tchewa had 11 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, and Georgia beat short-handed Mississippi 69-66 on Tuesday night. Georgia led 65-54 with 2:45 remaining before Ole Miss scored the next nine points. Tchewa was called for a Flagrant 1 with 52.3 seconds left, leading to two free throws by Allen Flanigan and a 3-pointer by Jaylen Murray to get Ole Miss within 65-63.

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Robert McCray scored 31 points to lead Jacksonville over Kennesaw State 92-86 on Monday night in the first round of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament. McCray shot 10 for 14 (4 for 4 from 3-point range) and 7 of 10 from the free throw line for the Dolphins (15-16).

ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Hawks announced Monday they have signed forward Dylan Windler to a two-way contract. The 6-foot-7 Windler has played in a combined 11 games this season with the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia coach Kirby Smart announced the hiring of James Coley as wide receivers coach and Josh Crawford as running backs coach and run game coordinator on Monday. Coley replaces Bryan McClendon, now the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receivers coach. Crawford replaces newly named Georgia State coach Dell McGee.

ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Hawks have lost All-Star point guard Trae Young for at least four weeks with a left hand injury. The Hawks announced Sunday that Young suffered a torn ligament in the fifth finger of his left hand during Friday night's loss to Toronto. Young will have surgery Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

HAMPTON, Ga. (AP) — Michael McDowell insisted his first NASCAR Cup Series pole in his 467th career start was not a surprise. Following a close runner-up finish in last week's Daytona 500 qualifying, McDowell said he knew his Front Row Motorsports Ford would be fast on Saturday.

ATLANTA (AP) — Dell McGee, who spent eight years as an assistant at Georgia, was named Georgia State's coach on Friday night. McGee, a Georgia native, replaces Shawn Elliott, who made a surprise decision on Feb. 15 to leave Georgia State and accept a position as assistant coach at South Carolina. Elliott's abrupt resignation forced the Panthers to delay plans for spring football practice.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Noah Thomasson scored 17 points, all in the first half, Jabri Abdur-Rahim added 13 points and Georgia rolled past Vanderbilt 76-64 on Wednesday night. Georgia's 16-point halftime lead was trimmed to 11 before Justin Hill scored five points and Blue Cain hit a 3-pointer in a 12-0 run that put the Bulldogs up 63-40 near the 11-minute mark.
