LITHONIA, Ga. — Luther Rice College and Seminary is pleased to announce the launch of two new graduate degree programs—the Master of Arts in Christian Leadership and the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership—as part of the newly established Waddle School of Leadership. These programs join the Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership to provide a comprehensive educational pathway for current and aspiring leaders.
For more than 64 years, Luther Rice has been committed to equipping students to lead and serve with excellence in ministry, the marketplace, and their communities. Today, Luther Rice is expanding its leadership education offerings to equip Christian leaders for service in both ministry and professional organizations through two innovative graduate degree programs.
The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership is designed for students seeking to strengthen their leadership effectiveness within churches, ministries, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations. The program combines biblical and theological foundations with leadership development to prepare graduates for greater ministry impact.
The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership equips students with advanced leadership skills applicable across a wide range of professional settings. Through a focus on organizational strategy, team development, communication, and ethical decision-making, graduates will be prepared to lead biblically and effectively in business, nonprofit, educational, and ministry environments.
Named in honor of Dr. Jim and Phyllis Waddle and their decades of faithful ministry and service, the Waddle School of Leadership brings together Luther Rice's leadership-focused academic programs under a unified vision of developing principled, servant-minded leaders. Through graduate and doctoral leadership education, the school equips students to influence organizations, churches, ministries, and communities for Christ.
Both programs provide flexible learning options and are available 100% online, allowing working professionals and ministry leaders to advance their education while continuing to serve in their current roles. Designed with flexibility and efficiency in mind, each degree can be accelerated for completion in just 16 to 24 months, helping students quickly gain the knowledge and credentials needed for greater leadership impact.
